One to one nature photography tuition is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced photographers. I will first contact you by phone to discuss the day. Knowing your requirements and abilities we will then draw up a rough itinerary, using my detailed knowledge of Yorkshire's landscapes and wildlife. The best way to learn is to photograph what you enjoy: so it may be a day of landscape photography in the Yorkshire Dales or a visit to a reliable site for wildlife photography. In any case, the day will be tailor made at locations I know personally, giving you the best photo opportunities.
Light is particularly important when it comes to nature photography, so start times are flexible. We may start early in the day to capture the stunning morning light or finish late in the evening to record evocative sunsets. One to one workshops last a full day - usually around 8 hours.
As an experienced teaching assistant, you will recieve expert tuition and benefit from my ten years of experience in landscape and nature photography, seeing instant improvements in your photographs.
Lunch will be taken at a pub or cafe, where we can review and discuss images. Further detailed feedback of images will be given via email along with specific reccomendations for progressing your photography.
